Gypsy Love: Pamela’s Wedding
One of my favorite Design Goddesses Pamela Love got married this past May to illustrator Matthew Nelson. Apart from the fact that I will automatically love anything that evokes gypsy vibes or that is remotely tribal/flower child related, you cannot deny the simple elegance of the affair. From Love’s dress, designed by Mara Hoffman (fellow design Goddess on Tribes and Things), her charming flower crown to the picturesque Montauk, Long Island locale all conveyed nothing but true deistic style.

Ojos Asi: Eyes like Penelope
Source: Fashion Gone Rogue
Penelope is one of the goddesses here at Tribes & Things (i.e. women I ADORE). Those eyes…..She definitely makes me feel proud to be a brown eyed beauty. I love that her eyes are almost always accentuated in her makeup and it’s so simple and easy to do. Penelope uses black eyeliner but my eyes are a darker brown so I prefer using brown ( this is just a personal preference).
Of course to achieve this look you don’t need the exact products listed
here. You can use any thin brush for eyeliner ( I use a nail art brush),
any brown eyeliner and any brown eyeshadow. What has made the
difference for me whether I’ve used high end products or drugstore
products is using a smudger brush (or q-tip) and
using your eyeshadow to set the cream eyeliner.
