My photos of my beautiful NYC. I think I was doing better during winter and fall because now that summer has rolled around my NYC nostalgia has kicked into overdrive. I miss the way the hot summer air smells. I miss seeing the neighborhood munchkins playing in the street flooded with water from the open hydrants. I miss walking from Harlem to Columbus Circle because it’s just that nice out and you can. I miss exploring Central Park or just spending time in the less crowded Carl Shurz Park. I MISS the MET and how I can pay only $1 and be entertained for HOURS and travel the world without going to JFK. I miss The Strand and the way all the old books smell.
I miss going to the ballet at Lincoln Center. I follow so many New Yorkers on Instagram and whenever I see their photos, my own photos or show and movies filmed in NY I feel an actual twinge in my chest…..
