I was very excited to try this as I LOVE the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum but……turns out I’m not a huge fan of it.

I use it as a second cleanse after removing my makeup and this is the first cleansing balm I have tried so perhaps I’m just not used to the texture…..but I have used cleansing oils before and this was quite a similar experience.

That being said, there is nothing bad about it. I didn’t break out. It left my face clean and supple. I didn’t have a reaction to it but I don’t think it is something I would use all year round.

It’s perfect for the deep dark days of winter and so I will keep using it.
